This year, the chemical logistics company TALKE welcomed its trainees mostly at the end of August and not, as usual, at the beginning of the month. The delayed start was due to the postponed start of school and training, which was postponed at many schools this year due to the corona pandemic. However, the wide range of training opportunities that TALKE offers its junior employees remained the same, such as in the professions of clerk for freight forwarding and logistics services, specialist for warehouse logistics, specialist for pipe, sewer and industrial services, clerk for office management and Vehicle mechatronics technician for commercial vehicle technology and professional drivers. “Our training occupations reflect the diversity of our company. As a training company, we offer a wide range of opportunities and individual development prospects, ”explains Farina Andrae, contact person for trainees at TALKE. As an international family-run company, TALKE provides training specifically for its own needs. This can already be seen on the first day of training, when, for example, the trainees are welcomed at the headquarters in Hürth and led into a multi-day program to get to know the company better. As part of this, you will receive a safety briefing as well as training in the areas of quality management, dangerous goods and data protection. A basic first aid course and an initial introduction to the specialist areas are also part of the program - this year with a greater margin than usual. "We are therefore very pleased that so many young people have chosen TALKE as a training company again this year to start their professional lives with us."
