The container terminal in Hürth offers an area of 150,000 square meters. Two gantry cranes and a reach stacker expertly move tank, silo and box containers - both in all common and individual special sizes. 30 storage rows as well as additional open areas provide space for more than 1,000 filled and empty containers. Connections for power and hot water heating allow for the special storage of temperature-controlled products.

In addition, TALKE can store products in water hazard classes (WGK) 0 to 3 for its customers. In addition to dangerous goods, it is of course possible to store harmless substances.

The Hürth site offers optimum geographical conditions for handling and storing products from the chemical and petrochemical industries. Hürth is located in the middle of Germany's leading chemical region and in the direct vicinity of the most important markets in Europe. In terms of transportation, the site is directly connected to the A1 autobahn. Junctions to other major highways are also in the immediate vicinity. A dedicated rail siding in the immediate vicinity of Europe's largest container railroad station, Cologne-Eifeltor, also provides fast access to the European rail network.

The range includes cleaning, maintenance and servicing of containers, as well as filling liquid or solid products into any other container. Liquid products can be filled into commercially available small containers and temporarily stored directly at the site via EX-protected and encapsulated semi- and fully-automatic filling systems, among other things.
